Blue - WIP

Everybody has a day like this.

Today I was blue, which is that weird little stint of mild depression that happens for no readily apparent reason and disappears a few hours later as inexplicably as it arrived. My life's going well, actually: Work's going well, I love my girl, I'm not broke, and my side projects are all in really pretty good shape. (Even the one project somebody out there might worry about.)

But, still, for a while this afternoon, I was listless and unable to concentrate on anything and feeling generally down-in-the-dumps, so I drew this centaur girl, feeling about how I was feeling. Generally, I can resolve the whole "blue" state of mind with an artistic endeavor: Drawing, writing, coding --- heck, half my best work is from times when I was less than happy.

This picture helped. She's now blue, and I'm not. Poor kid.
